This route meanders along the flat scenic winding levee roads around the Sacramento Delta Region from Brannan and Tyler Islands to Andrus Island.

Begin this ride from Isleton and meander through the town’s residential neighborhood out to Jackson Blvd.

The road name changes to Jackson Slough Rd as it exits town through the expansive farmland and vineyards around Brannan Island.

Cross Hwy 12 to stay on Jackson Slough Rd, it travels southward along the slough through the beautiful agricultural farmlands to Brannan Island Rd.

Turn left onto Brannan Island Rd; this flat levee road goes along Sevenmile Slough past Owl Harbor, Andreas Cove Yacht Club and the boats at Bruno’s Island Yacht Harbor.

The road bends to the left as it heads east along the San Joaquin River past several island resort and marina areas.

Check out the elevated houses along the river at Libordi Shoals.

At the far east edge of Brannan Island, the road heads north along the Mokelumne River through a few more marine resort areas and a RV Park.

The road exits the marina resorts out towards the farmlands to Hwy 12 and Terminous Rd.

Terminous Rd cuts across the agricultural fields to Jackson Blvd for the return into Isleton.

Take Hwy 160/River Rd and cut across Andrus Island through a residential neighborhood on W Tyler Island Bridge Rd.

Cross over Georgiana Slough onto Tyler Island Rd and head south along the east side of the waterway past the farmlands and waterfront homes around Oxbow Marina.

The levee road curves slightly east before traveling south, the terrain also changes from pavement to a super bumpy washboard gravel section as it cuts across the patchwork fields.

Tyler Island Rd turns eastward onto pavement where Georgiana Slough spills out onto the S Mokelumne River.

The pavement ends once again as it rolls around the island on a broad gravel road with expansive views of the rich fertile farmlands and gorgeous blue river for the next 4 miles.

The levee road returns onto pavement as it continues north along the delta cornfields and vineyards followed by another short section of gravel before coming to the road split at Race Track Rd.

Stay north on Race Track Rd, it rolls through the vast agricultural fields, vineyards and ranches.

At Walnut Grove-Thornton Rd junction, go straight. The road name changes to River Rd as it enters the town of Walnut Grove.

Stop at Mel’s Mocha & Ice Cream.

Stop at Walnut Grove Iron Works, formerly the Imperial Theatre.

Check out the interior and Iron Work products and designs.

Exit Walnut Grove and retrace steps back on River Rd to Isleton Rd. Cross the Georgiana Slough for a scenic run along the east edge of Andrus Island.

Turn left onto Andrus Island Rd, the winding levee road travels south along the west side of the slough with views of the delta vineyards and orchards.

The road continues past the scattered farmhouses and ranches before coming to a T junction at Isleton Rd.

Continue south on Isleton Rd, it runs along the east side of the Sacramento River to Isleton Bridge.

Go straight onto River Rd/Hwy 160 for the return to Isleton.
