This short local cycling trip roams the beautiful country roads from Marin to Sonoma Counties to the coastal beaches along Hwy 1. It’s the epitome of country riding; expansive open spaces, quiet back roads with minimal to no traffic, ocean views, dense redwood forests and fresh air! It’s quality cycling with gorgeous scenic views and vistas!

• North Bay: Nicasio-Tomales-Pt Reyes Station 55 Miles
• North Bay: Dillon Beach-Lawson’s Landing 54 Miles
• North Bay: Joy Rd-Duncans Mills-Bay Hill 46 Miles

We dry camped at Walnut Park in Petaluma and at the American Valley School in Valley Ford. Petaluma has a great downtown and waterfront area loaded with a variety of restaurants and shops. Valley Ford offers peace and quiet with no sounds of the hustle and bustle of city living.
