Briones: Lafayette Ridge Trail

There’s a wonderful simplicity of being able to just walk/hike on your own two feet-everything slows down and you can stop to take in nature’s landscape and just breathe. Anyone can do this-always start with baby steps and build up the miles from there!

From sunlit shores to shade-covered hillsides, the East Bay Regional Park District spans more than 119,000 acres in 65 parks, including 1,200 miles of trails in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, offering experiences as diverse as the land itself.
