I recently took part in a Bicycle Adventure Club cycling tour around Paso Robles. The tour included two group dinners and daily social hour with wine, beer, soft drinks and light snacks.
RIDE DESCRIPTION: This is quintessential California. A fixed base tour in California’s stunning Central Coast area led by Ride Director, Bob Lynn. Paso Robles offers exceptional cycling on lightly travelled roads that are bordered by native oaks, fruit, nut and olive orchards, old ranches, lots of vineyards and wineries, and even the Pacific Ocean. Although mornings are frosty or foggy and winter rains are quite possible, the average daytime temperature is often upper 50s to low 60s.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Riverside Ave with its complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The room was spacious and most importantly comfortable.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous during my four days of riding; cool morning temps with afternoons in the high 60’s! Get on out there and enjoy it for your self!
