Michael invited me to participate in his company’s (T-Mobile) fundraising event for the Best Buddies Challenge. Best Buddies is an organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver. It helps creates opportunities, employments and other things for people who intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We’re riding 100 miles along Hwy 1 from Carmel all the way to San Simeon. There are over 1000+ people participating in this event. There are 4 rest stops; Rocky Point, Vista Point, Sand Dollar and Ragged Point.
The celebrity rider with T-Mobile is Mari Holden. She is the 2000 Sydney Olympic Silver medalist in the Women’s Time Trial.
The views are absolutely fabulous!
There is a post ride BBQ and live concert at the Hearst Ranch.
It was a super way to spend a day riding along the beautiful coastline of California.
