The trail drops down to the paved drive at Posey Ave to Dornan Drive.

Turn right onto Dornan Drive and cross the road onto the path leading to the Miller Knox Lagoon picnic areas.

At the junction, turn right and follow the Ferry Point Loop Trail along the west side of the lagoon towards Ferry Point. The picnic facilities are on a tree-shaded lawn surrounding a saltwater lagoon.
