This ride goes across the Benicia-Martinez Bridge for a leisurely jaunt along Benicia’s scenic waterfront area.

Exit Holiday Highlands Park on Fig Tree to Morello Ave and take Pacheco Blvd to Shell Ave.

Shell Ave takes you along the Shell refinery to Marina Vista Ave.

Cross the Benicia-Martinez Bridge on the bridge trail into Benicia.

Enjoy the grand views around Carquinez Strait!

Exit the bridge onto Park Rd and take Military E to E 5th St. Meander on the mulit-use path along the Benicia Marina to the First St pier.

This guy caught a Chinook Salmon off the bay waters! Exit the pier and take 1st st to W E St; ride along the waterfront trail to W I St.

Roll along W I St to the picnic and boat launch area at Commodore Jones Point.

Head east on W K St to Military E and return across the Benicia-Martinez Bridge into Martinez. Retrace your steps back on Shell Ave to Pacheco, Morello Ave and Fig Tree Ln.

This is a short scenic route is great for an early morning jaunt to beat the heat or just a leisurely “take your time” ride across the bridge for a coffee/lunch stop around Benicia’s waterfront area. There are many food options on the First St Promenade and Downtown area. Take the time to enjoy the wonderful waterfront vistas! Sometimes riding is not about having to do a certain amount of miles, but just spending time with friends.
