For many Bay Area cyclists, it’s a New Year’s tradition to climb up to the summit of Mount Diablo. This route heads up North Gate Rd to the Junction Ranger Station and up Summit Rd to the summit.

Here are some scenes from a club ride starting from Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek.
