We’re going up Tam again! The group meets up at the Mill Valley Safeway on Miller Ave. There is ample street parking with no time limitations. Water and restrooms are available inside Safeway.

We take Miller Ave to Throckmorton and take Cascade Dr at Old Mill Park. We continue on Marion Ave to Edghewood and Sequoia Valley Rd. The turn on Panoramic takes us directly into the fog. There is a brief regroup at the Pan Toll Campground. Water and restrooms are available.

We continue up Pan Toll Rd to E Ridgecrest Blvd. The sun is up on this side of the mountain and it feels wonderfully warm! Porta-potties are available at the east parking lot and there is a water fountain at the amphitheatre.

The next 2.9 miles on E Ridgecrest Blvd will take us up to the summit. The views along the way are just fantastic!

The temps are in the low 90’s at the summit; it’s pretty hot! A few people decide to head back down Panoramic and the rest of us continue on with the rest of the ride.

Bolinas Fairfax Rd drops us down to Alpine Lake/Dam. It’s always beautiful here. We continue on Bolinas Fairfax for the climb up to Pine Mountain.

There is an ice cream stop at Fairfax Scoop. I get a single size with 2 flavors; coffee and raspberry sorbet on a waffle cup. It’s very refreshing!

We take the bike route along San Anselmo Ave to Ross and Kentfield. We continue on Magnolia Ave to Redwood Ave and take Chapman Dr to Camino Alto.
